Tarmac Partners with PCT to Expand Supply of High-Performance Flooring Mortar in the UK

en.Wedoany.com Reported - On September 18, UK building materials company Tarmac entered into a strategic partnership with PCT Performance Chemicals UK to expand the supply of Retanol high-performance flooring mortar products in London and the South East of England. The two parties will combine Tarmac's production network and market coverage with PCT's product and technical support systems for high-performance flooring mortar technology to jointly supply residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.

The scope of cooperation covers project technical specification development, pre-construction technical consultation, on-site supply, and post-installation technical support. The relevant products are manufactured in a factory-based production process and are jointly provided by both parties as approved partners, engaging in projects from the material selection and construction preparation stages and extending through to on-site delivery and follow-up services.

This cooperation focuses on expanding the market coverage of the Retanol Screeds series in London and the South East of England. Tarmac currently has more than 350 operating sites in the UK, with business covering aggregates, asphalt, cement, ready-mixed concrete, road engineering, and building products. Its existing production and logistics network will handle the regional supply of the relevant materials.

The Retanol series is primarily aimed at residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects with high requirements for construction cycles and flooring performance. Going forward, the two parties will supply factory-produced high-performance flooring mortar through Tarmac's production system, with PCT providing supporting technical support, serving contractors, residential developers, and engineering design firms.
