Oman's Joger Invests USD 6.5 Million to Build Precast Concrete Component Factory

en.Wedoany.com Reported - On October 28, Joger Modular Building Technologies, an Omani modular construction technology enterprise, signed an investment agreement to build a precast concrete building component production factory in Khazaen Economic City, Oman, with an investment of OMR 2.5 million (approximately USD 6.5 million) and a project site area of more than 22,000 square meters. The new factory will engage in the manufacturing and processing of precast concrete building components and is currently at the stage of investment agreement signing.

The project is one of 28 industrial investment agreements promoted by the Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones (OPAZ) during the same period. The total value of the investment agreements signed this time exceeds OMR 304 million, covering multiple fields including industrial manufacturing, building materials, equipment production, and logistics facilities. The Joger project is located in Khazaen Economic City, making it a newly added building materials manufacturing investment project in this round for the economic city.

According to the published agreement content, Joger will build precast concrete building component manufacturing and processing facilities in the new plant area. The investment agreement specifies the enterprise name, investment amount, production direction, and land scale, but does not disclose the factory's designed annual production capacity, number of production lines, main equipment suppliers, or official production start date.

Khazaen Economic City also signed several building materials-related investment agreements in this round. Among them, Al Yusr International plans to invest OMR 200,000 to build a building materials production factory; Around the World Achievements Company intends to invest OMR 40,000 to build a ready-mixed concrete production facility; and Khazaen Al Baraka Logistics plans to invest OMR 40,000 to build an integrated building materials manufacturing, commercial, and logistics facility.

The Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones stated that this round of investment agreements involves manufacturing production facilities and related industrial supporting projects.
