Following approximately 18 months of construction, the facility is equipped with a fully robotic automated production line to expand capacity for architectural glass capable of switching between transparent states. The company released the opening arrangements on October 27, and industry reports on October 29 confirmed that the project had entered the commissioning phase.

The new facility is located at the existing manufacturing site in Tomah and is dedicated to producing CLiC on-demand privacy glass. The automated production system supports the manufacture of larger and thinner glass panels and adjusts order production and delivery processes. The company disclosed that the Tomah manufacturing site currently covers more than 800,000 square feet, approximately 74,300 square meters; this figure represents the scale of the entire existing plant area, not the independent building area of the newly constructed facility.

The production line uses polymer-stabilized cholesteric texture (PSCT) technology to manufacture smart glass, altering light transmission through liquid crystal structures when powered. Product technical specifications published by the company show that switching between transparent and privacy states takes less than 100 milliseconds, power consumption in transparent mode is less than one-third of a watt per square foot, and no power is required in privacy mode.

The site also includes a residential application demonstration facility called the CLiC Tiny House, where visitors can learn about the application of smart privacy glass in doors, windows, and interior partitions. The commissioning event on October 29 included plant tours and demonstrations of the automated production facility.
