UK's MeadeX Orders Borch 260-Ton Injection Molding Machine
en.Wedoany.com Reported - On October 22, UK precision molded products manufacturer MeadeX announced the purchase of a Borch Machinery Bi260 injection molding machine with a clamping force of 260 tons, to be installed at its existing production facility in Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire, England. The equipment is scheduled for delivery in October, with Borch Machinery UK's engineering team responsible for installation, commissioning, and integration into the existing production line. This purchase is part of MeadeX's equipment upgrade project for its existing plastic molding production facilities.

The newly purchased Bi260 injection molding machine adopts servo-hydraulic drive technology, controlling the hydraulic system operation through servo motors, and is suitable for injection molding of precision plastic components. The equipment supplier will be responsible for on-site installation and commissioning, and will complete the integration of the equipment with the factory's existing production systems. Borch Machinery UK's engineering team is located in the West Midlands region of England, and the two parties have maintained an equipment supply partnership for more than 13 years.
MeadeX's existing production facility is equipped with plastic molding equipment of various specifications, with a maximum clamping force of 400 tons, and also has rubber compression molding processing facilities. The company is developing an ISO Class 7 cleanroom, and its production operations cover precision plastic, rubber, and silicone components, with products used in aerospace, automotive, medical, agricultural, and food sectors. The newly purchased Bi260 will join the existing plastic injection molding equipment fleet.
