NCT Offshore Awards Taiwan Cable Contract

Wedoany.com Report-Nov 18, Poseidon Cables has secured a contract with NCT Offshore for the cable pre-rigging and pull-in scope of inter-array cables for Orsted's 920MW Greater Changhua 2b and 4 offshore wind farms in Taiwan.

The Greater Changhua offshore wind farms, located 35-60km off the coast of Changhua County, will be Taiwan’s largest wind power complex, with annual production of clean energy equal to 1 million Taiwanese households once completed.

Poseidon Cables said in a statement: "Our role involves the precise pre-rigging for, and pull-in of, inter-array cables.

"This contract marks a significant milestone for us on our journey to becoming a leading provider of high-quality cable solutions in the offshore renewable energy sector.

"Our expertise will play a crucial role in the successful execution of the Greater Changhua 2b and 4 project, supporting Taiwan’s renewable energy goals."
