(Milwaukee, Wisc.) has announced plans to build a new manufacturing facility in Southeastern Wisconsin, as part of its $2 billion investment to expand plants, digital infrastructure, and talent over the next five years. The new site has the potential to become Rockwell’s largest manufacturing campus globally, offering a significant footprint and scalability for future growth.

The facility is designed to enhance Rockwell's ability to deliver cutting-edge manufacturing solutions. It will span more than 1 million square feet and feature advanced automation, robotics, and digital systems, all showcasing Rockwell's leadership in industrial automation. The facility will integrate the latest technologies, including AI and analytics tools, to boost efficiency and precision, as well as provide employees with advanced tools and training to further their expertise.

Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers expressed his support for the expansion, emphasizing the state’s long-standing relationship with Rockwell. “Rockwell Automation has been leading the way with high-quality manufacturing and technology solutions for over a century. We’re incredibly proud of that tradition,” Evers said. He added that the expansion aligns with Wisconsin's goal of developing a modern workforce and economy.

Blake Moret, Chairman and CEO of Rockwell Automation, highlighted the opportunity the new facility represents. “Designing a new facility presents the opportunity to create the future of industrial operations, with highly orchestrated production,” Moret said. He also noted that the site will incorporate the latest Rockwell technologies, ensuring it supports the company’s growth and performance in the global market.

Bob Buttermore, Chief Supply Chain Officer at Rockwell, explained that the site would increase efficiency and provide access to advanced training and tools for employees. “This investment reflects our confidence in our teams that deliver excellence every day,” Buttermore remarked.

This project strengthens Rockwell's long-term commitment to American manufacturing and the skilled workforce that drives innovation. The new facility will be located near Rockwell's global headquarters in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and construction is already underway with local and state officials.
