Wedoany.com Report-Nov. 29, LUXEED, the premium smart new-energy vehicle brand jointly developed by Huawei and Chery Automobile, announced on 28 November 2025 that it delivered over 10,000 vehicles in November – the second consecutive month above this level. Firm orders have exceeded 10,000 units for three straight months.
The brand entered a new phase after Chery and Huawei's consumer business division signed an upgraded "2.0" strategic partnership on 7 August 2025 in Shenzhen. The agreement commits more than CNY 10 billion to research and development and targets a 5,000-strong engineering team focused on advanced driver-assistance systems and electric powertrain technology.
LUXEED is expanding its design and development network with centres in Shanghai and Shenzhen, plus a new R&D facility under construction in Wuhu's Roland Town modelled on Huawei's Songshan Lake campus. Responsibilities are clearly divided: Huawei leads intelligent systems and overall operations, while Chery has made LUXEED its highest-priority brand and allocated dedicated production resources.
The strengthened collaboration has already produced refreshed LUXEED R7 and S7 models. The updated R7 fastback SUV is priced from CNY 268,000, while the S7 sedan starts at CNY 258,000. On 10 November 2025, LUXEED confirmed cumulative R7 deliveries surpassed 100,000 units.
At the STELATO S9 launch event in Guangzhou on 20 November 2025, Huawei Executive Director Richard Yu announced that Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA) will soon release its first flagship MPV under the LUXEED brand. Positioned as a premium "9-series" model, it will use HIMA's most advanced vehicle platform with the latest HarmonySpace cockpit, high-level assisted-driving technology, and both pure-electric and range-extended powertrain options. The MPV is scheduled for market launch in the first half of 2026.
These developments underline LUXEED's rapid growth and expanding product range in China's competitive premium new-energy vehicle segment.
