Production data for Ukraine's metallurgical enterprises in November of this year has been recently released. The data shows that the country's steel output for the month reached 641,000 tons, an increase of 18.5% compared to 541,000 tons in the same period last year. However, compared to the October output of 648,000 tons, November's production fell by 1.1%.
According to rankings released by the World Steel Association, Ukraine ranks 20th among the world's 70 major steel-producing countries. Data from the same period by the association shows that as of November 2025, among the top ten countries in terms of production, half of them experienced a decline in steel output compared to November 2024, excluding India, the United States, Turkey, Iran, and Brazil.
