Wedoany.com Report-Dec.25, Vestas has secured seven new wind turbine orders totaling 273 megawatts for projects located in various regions of Germany. The company booked these orders during the fourth quarter of 2025, with delivery and commissioning scheduled between the first quarter and the fourth quarter of 2027.
The orders include service agreements for these projects, ranging from 20 to 25 years.
The orders involve multiple customers and diverse turbine models. Windkraft Presen-Burgstaaken has placed an order for the Presen-Burgstaaken project, which has a capacity of 43 megawatts and will use seven V162-6.2 MW turbines.
Projekt Projektierungsgesellschaft für regenerative Energiesysteme ordered turbines for the Oldenbroker Feld Niederort project, totaling 49 megawatts. This project will deploy six V162-7.2 MW turbines and one V150-5.6 MW turbine.
Iterra Energy has ordered eight V150-6.0 MW turbines for the Frielendorf-Waltersberg project, amounting to 48 megawatts. Additionally, Iterra Energy placed an order for four V150-6.0 MW turbines for the Frielendorf-Dorheim project, contributing 24 megawatts.
JUWI ordered five V162-6.2 MW turbines and one V162-7.2 MW turbine for the Arneburg Sanne project, totaling 38 megawatts. JUWI also secured four V162-6.2 MW turbines for the Reichenbach-Steegen project, with a capacity of 25 megawatts.
An undisclosed customer placed an order for the Günstedt 2 project, totaling 46 megawatts. This order includes three V172-7.2 MW turbines, three V162-6.2 MW turbines, and one V150-6.0 MW turbine.
All orders come with long-term service agreements ranging from 20 to 25 years. These agreements incorporate tiered service options, including AOM 4000 and AOM 5000 maintenance packages, ensuring ongoing support and performance optimization for the installed turbines.
These contracts strengthen Vestas' position in the German wind energy market, where demand continues for reliable and efficient turbine solutions suited to various site conditions. The selected turbine models reflect a mix of proven platforms designed to maximize energy yield while meeting project-specific requirements.
In related developments, Vestas recently received an order from Casa dos Ventos for 828 megawatts to supply the Dom Inocêncio wind complex in Brazil. Located in Piauí, the project will utilize 184 V150-4.5 MW turbines.
Vestas has also secured additional orders totaling 191 megawatts for projects in Germany and Poland. These involve customers including Uhl Windkraft, Wpd, and a consortium of FW LUBIEŃ 1 and Greenvolt Power Group.
The recent order intake demonstrates continued momentum for Vestas across key European markets and beyond, supporting the expansion of renewable energy infrastructure through advanced turbine technology and comprehensive service commitments.
