Wedoany.com News - Recently, U.S. independent power producer Treaty Oak Clean Energy, LLC announced that it has completed financing and officially commenced construction of two large-scale photovoltaic projects in Louisiana. These two projects will add 385 megawatts of renewable energy generation capacity to the state.

The Beekman PV project is located in Morehouse Parish with a total financing of $410 million, and the Hollis Creek PV project is located in Sabine Parish with a total financing of $399 million. The coordinating lead arrangers for the projects include Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC), ING Capital, Crédit Agricole CIB, Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG), and National Australia Bank.
The electricity from these two projects will be supplied to Meta Platforms, Inc. under long-term power purchase agreements. The engineering, procurement, and construction partners for the Beekman project include Blattner Energy and Dashiell, with modules supplied by First Solar. The Hollis Creek project will be constructed by Primoris Renewable Energy and Beta Engineering.
