The Jinchuan Hydropower Station is located in Jinchuan County and Barkam City within the Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture of Sichuan Province. It is the sixth cascade power station planned on the main stream of the Dadu River, with a total installed capacity of 860 megawatts.
