Wedoany.com Report on Feb 3rd, Significant exploration progress has recently been made at the Prophet River project in British Columbia, Canada. Rapid Critical Metals has obtained high-grade gallium and germanium assay results through rock chip sampling, which corroborate historical exploration records.
The company employed an integrated approach combining rock chip sampling, geological mapping, and geophysical surveys to optimize the targeting accuracy for drilling. Five priority geophysical anomalies have been identified as potential drill targets, all supported by historical drilling data.
Surface sample analysis indicates significant mineralization. Sample 304178 yielded germanium grades of 763 g/t and gallium grades of 65.5 g/t; another sample, 304164, contained 250 g/t germanium and 121 g/t gallium. Based on proximity to historical drill sites, Anomalies 1, 3, and 4 have been prioritized for initial drilling.
The Prophet River project spans 2,110 hectares within a mineralized system exceeding one kilometer in length, which remains open in both directions. The project is adjacent to the historic Cay mine area, known for historically recorded high germanium grades and significant gallium mineralization on a global scale.
Historical exploration involved 21 drill holes and bulk sampling, achieving results as high as 22.69% zinc, 40 g/t gallium, and 1500 ppm germanium. Gallium and germanium are critical technology metals widely used in semiconductors, solar cells, fiber optic communications, and advanced electronics manufacturing.
Rapid Critical Metals plans to submit a multi-year drilling permit application and will engage professional drilling contractors to further refine target prioritization and specific implementation plans. The company's stock has been active recently, gaining over 150% in the past six months, primarily driven by its silver exploration progress in New South Wales.
The exploration results from the Prophet River project demonstrate Rapid Critical Metals' potential for multi-commodity, multi-region exploration in the critical minerals sector.
