Application Scope

The TH-ZX200 automatic ammonia nitrogen water quality analyzer is a device independently developed by our company for measuring ammonia nitrogen concentration in water. It is suitable for online and offline detection of surface water, pollution source water quality, industrial and municipal wastewater, and sewage.

Instrument Principle

In alkaline medium (pH = 11.7) with sodium nitroprusside present, ammonia and ammonium ions in water react with salicylate and hypochlorite ions to form a blue compound. The absorbance is measured at 660 nm and converted to ammonia nitrogen concentration in water.
