Product Introduction

Instrument Principle

TH-2001B Ammonia Analyzer is a dual-task analyzer developed based on the functional principle of TH-2001 Chemiluminescence Nitrogen Oxides Analyzer. When TH-2001B is connected and operated with TH-2001B-CNH3 ammonia converter, it can be used for ammonia (NH3) analysis; when operated as a single unit, it can be used for nitrogen oxides (NOₓ) analysis. As a detection unit of the ambient air automatic monitoring system, this instrument combines with other analyzers to form a local automatic monitoring sub-station system. The collected data is transmitted to the sub-station host computer through the RS-485 serial communication port. The sub-station host computer then aggregates the data from each analyzer and transmits it to the regional central station through wired modem transmission on one hand, and receives a series of instructions (such as automatic calibration, etc.) from the regional central station on the other hand to automatically monitor the operating status of the instruments. Multiple sub-station systems constitute an ambient air automatic monitoring network, enabling environmental monitoring departments to quickly and timely grasp the air quality status of the area.

Instrument Features

The core and analysis principle of TH-2001B are exactly the same as TH-2001, that is, using chemiluminescence spectroscopy principle, integrating light, mechanics, electricity, photochemistry and modern sensing technology, using electronic microcomputer technology for signal detection, data processing, control and remote transmission, continuously and automatically monitoring trace NH₃ content in ambient air. Different from TH-2001, TH-2001B is equipped with two sample gas inlets at the sample gas inlet and an additional software-controlled gas path switching device: one path is used to collect converted sample gas output from TH-2000H in online state, and the other path is used to directly collect ambient air sample gas.

TH-2001B adopts a dual-path single-channel time-sharing sampling gas circuit system, which reduces measurement errors caused by rapid changes in NO concentration in environments with stable NO₂. Compared with traditional dual-path dual-channel simultaneous sampling gas circuit systems of the same type, the dual-path single-channel time-sharing sampling system uses only one reaction chamber and one PMT detector, simplifying the system structure and improving system reliability.

The hardware manufacturing principle of this instrument is basically the same as TH-2001, with the addition of NH₃ detection and analysis interface in the software. The whole machine adopts modular design, with functions such as parameter setting, historical data storage, automatic calibration, alarm prompts, host computer communication, etc.
