Instrument Principle
The instrument uses dedicated chromatographic column combination, center cutting with backflush technology, and hydrogen flame ionization detector (FID) technology to detect methane and non-methane total hydrocarbons. After the sample is collected into the quantitative loop, the injection valve is switched, and under carrier gas drive, it enters the chromatographic columns for separation. One path of total hydrocarbons enters the FID detector for detection, the other path of oxygen and methane is separated from the PQ chromatographic column, enters the 5A chromatographic column, after switching valve position, hydrocarbons are backflushed, methane enters the FID detector for detection.
