Wedoany.com Report on Mar 2nd, China National Heavy Duty Truck Group International Co., Ltd. recently issued a recall notice for Sitrak vehicles produced in 2025, involving a total of 34 vehicles. This recall stems from a defect in the manufacturing process, specifically the improper installation of the trailer control valve, which fails to meet the requirements of Australian Design Rule (ADR) 35/07 concerning the braking systems for commercial vehicles.

According to the description in the recall notice: "Due to a manufacturing defect, the trailer control valve was installed incorrectly and does not comply with the requirements of Australian Design Rule (ADR) 35/07 – Braking Systems for Commercial Vehicles." This issue may cause slight brake drag on the rear trailing unit over a very short period, leading to increased brake temperatures and brake lining wear, posing a potential risk to driving safety.

To ensure owner safety, China National Heavy Duty Truck Group advises all owners of affected vehicles to contact their nearest Sitrak dealer as soon as possible to arrange a free inspection and any necessary repairs. Owners can confirm whether their vehicle is included in the recall by visiting the official recall page and entering their vehicle information.
