Heavy fog occurred along the coast of Fujian, China on March 2, reducing visibility in many port areas to less than 1,000 meters. The foggy weather has adversely affected maritime traffic, prompting the Fujian Maritime Safety Administration to implement multiple measures to ensure safety. As of 10:00 AM on the 2nd, 51 passenger and ferry routes and 134 vessels along the Fujian coast were suspended. This includes the suspension of 4 cross-strait "mini three links" passenger routes. In Xiamen, Zhangzhou, Quanzhou, and Pingtan, all passenger and ferry routes were halted except for 2 emergency routes serving essential needs.
