en.Wedoany.com Reported - Bühler, a Swiss mechanical materials manufacturing company, has recently introduced a maintenance platform specifically designed for square plansifters, aiming to enhance the safety of sieve frame maintenance operations, improve ergonomic experience, and reduce flour dust.
Regular maintenance of sieve frames in square plansifters is crucial for consistently achieving high sifting performance and stable product quality. The company states that this helps prevent unplanned downtime, extend the service life of key components, and reduce operational and subsequent costs. However, removing sieve frames is a labor-intensive maintenance task often accompanied by high concentrations of dust exposure.
The platform provides an ergonomic working height for maintaining sieve frames, is flexibly movable with casters, and features a staircase with a platform as a safe and comfortable alternative to ladders. Additionally, collection containers, inclined dust collection surfaces, and dust curtains help ensure a cleaner work area around the square plansifter.
Bühler states that, unlike temporary solutions or standard platforms for other applications, this maintenance platform is specifically developed for square plansifter maintenance, integrating safety, ease of use, and industrial robustness.
The maintenance platform features several characteristics: an ergonomically optimized working height for safe sieve frame removal; a spacious platform providing a comfortable workspace; flour collection containers and inclined dust collection surfaces to improve cleanliness; dust curtains to reduce flour dust in the work area; a balance between safety and ease of use without requiring additional unnecessary operations; integrated brackets for tools and cleaning equipment; high mechanical stability suitable for industrial use; and suitability for ATEX Zone 22.
Bühler states that the maintenance platform was developed based on customer project experience, through close collaboration between its milling technology and R&D departments, aiming to make the daily maintenance of square plansifters faster, safer, and more comfortable.
