Meanwhile, another independent bridge replacement project is also scheduled to begin on March 23, which will replace the bridge at Park Road spanning Pittman Creek. This bridge repair and replacement project costs $1.8 million, primarily composed of federal funds, and is expected to be completed within 10 months. During construction, the intersection near the bridge will be temporarily closed, the median will be used to divert traffic, and streetlights will remain off until the project is finished.
