en.Wedoany.com Report on Mar 21st, Recently, the new-generation "Hanwu·HAN5" reactor pressure vessel inspection system, independently developed by China Nuclear Power's subsidiary CNNC Wuhan, was successfully deployed for the pre-service inspection of the Sanmen Nuclear Power Unit 3. It successfully completed the full-scope pre-service inspection task for the reactor pressure vessel, paving a new path for the independent upgrade of pressure vessel inspection technology for China's nuclear power units.
The system was established based on China Nuclear Power's first batch of centralized R&D projects, specifically "Development of a Multi-Task, Highly Integrated Second-Generation Plus Reactor Pressure Vessel Inspection System." After three years of technological breakthroughs, it achieved core technical indicators including parallel operation of five inspection tools and controlling the critical path occupation time of the reactor vessel to within five days. Compared to traditional inspection systems, "Hanwu·HAN5" reduces the critical path time for pressure vessel inspection by more than three days. It is not only applicable to second-generation plus reactor types but can also be adapted to various mainstream reactor types such as AP1000 and "Hualong One." It fully meets the requirements of international in-service inspection codes like ASME and RSE-M, possessing strong versatility and promotion value.
