The new vehicle adopts the same widebody setup as the E-Ray and Z06, featuring a quad-center exhaust system, a sharp rear lip spoiler, and a new front lip.

Regarding the powertrain, Chevrolet has not yet officially released the technical specifications. Based on available information, the new Corvette Grand Sport is expected to be equipped with a 6.7-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine, model LS6, which belongs to Chevrolet's new generation of small-block engine series. This engine is anticipated to utilize direct injection and port fuel injection technologies, delivering an output of approximately 550 horsepower. This power rating would position it between the 495-horsepower Stingray and the 670-horsepower Z06, creating a middle-ground offering in the product lineup.
Chevrolet has not disclosed further technical details about this new engine. The full debut is scheduled for March 26. According to industry reports, in addition to the standard Grand Sport, Chevrolet may also introduce a Grand Sport X version, which is expected to feature an all-wheel-drive layout and a front-mounted electric motor, with a combined output potentially reaching 721 horsepower.
