Ocean Winds and Banque Des Territoires Awarded Floating Offshore Wind Project in France

Wedoany.com Report-Dec 30,Ocean Winds (OW), in partnership with Banque des Territoires, has been awarded the Eoliennes Flottantes d’Occitanie project by the French Ministry in charge of Industry and Energy. This project covers one of the two mutually exclusive development zones defined in the AO6 tender, located in the Gulf of Lion in the Mediterranean Sea.

The Eoliennes Flottantes d’Occitanie (EFLO) project will have a total installed capacity of approximately 250 MW. Ocean Winds (OW) is an international company dedicated to offshore wind energy, created as a 50-50 joint venture owned by EDP Renewables and ENGIE. Banque des Territoires is a public investment institution committed to sustainable development.
