en.Wedoany.com Reported - AI computing company Blaize recently announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with Nokia and IT service provider Datacomm Diangraha. The three parties will collaborate to deploy hybrid AI infrastructure in Indonesia. This infrastructure is designed to support hybrid AI inference tasks across edge, cloud, and data center environments.

Under the agreement, Datacomm will deploy a reference architecture previously jointly launched by Blaize and Nokia. This architecture provides a pre-integrated, validated solution for hybrid AI deployments in the Asia-Pacific region. Nokia is responsible for providing infrastructure tailored for GPU-intensive telecom RAN workloads, such as training and AI-RAN acceleration; Blaize provides a programmable AI platform specifically designed for the enterprise edge, suitable for power-constrained, widely distributed scenarios.
Blaize CEO Dinakar Munagala stated: "The combination of Nokia's network infrastructure and Blaize's energy-efficient inference computing brings unique advantages to the enterprise edge. GPU economics cannot scale to thousands of distributed sites, but Blaize can." Datacomm, which has partnered with Nokia for over 20 years, will deploy this hybrid AI infrastructure in Indonesia's public sector, geospatial fields, and more. Datacomm President Tan Wie Tjin pointed out that customer demand for AI inference has grown by over 50% in the past six months, calling the collaboration "timing just right."
Dion Leung, Head of AI and Cloud for Nokia Asia-Pacific, stated that Nokia's role is to enable large-scale hybrid AI deployment, connecting the cloud and edge while providing reliability, security, and automation. The tripartite collaboration will accelerate Indonesia's digital transformation.
