The two sides noted that the humanitarian situation in Afghanistan remains severe and supported the international community in continuing to provide necessary assistance to the Afghan people suffering from the hardships of war and turmoil.

The two sides called on regional countries and the international community to strengthen bilateral and multilateral counter-terrorism cooperation with Afghanistan. The two sides welcomed comprehensive measures to eradicate terrorism as soon as possible and address all challenges and threats emanating from within Afghanistan.

X. The two sides emphasized that maintaining regular communication between the two heads of state is of great significance in providing strategic guidance for deepening and elevating the China-Tajikistan comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership in the new era.

XI. President Rahmon of Tajikistan expressed sincere gratitude to President Xi Jinping of the People's Republic of China and the Chinese people for the warm and friendly hospitality extended to the Tajik delegation, and invited President Xi Jinping to visit Tajikistan at a time convenient to both sides.
