en.Wedoany.com Reported - German wind turbine manufacturer Enercon has signed a contract with RBI Raiffeisen Bauträger- und Immobilien (RBI) to install 25 turbines in Lorup, with a total installed capacity of 175 megawatts.

Under the contract, Enercon will supply and install E-175 EP5 E2 turbines for this large-scale onshore wind project. The turbines will be distributed across three sites: 9 units at Mammoor, 12 units at Hassmoor, and 4 units at Glümmel.
The project is scheduled to commence in the first quarter of 2027, with the simultaneous construction of a substation and related civil works. This new construction follows a repowering program completed between 2024 and 2025, which replaced 17 old turbines with 10 modern units.
Alexander Hackmann, Managing Director of RBI Raiffeisen Bauträger u. Immobilien GmbH, stated that Enercon's strong performance made it the right partner for the next phase of expansion. Enercon, in turn, expressed high appreciation for RBI's renewed trust, noting that this project and partnership are crucial to the company, and that both parties will develop together and drive innovation.
