en.Wedoany.com Reported - On June 2, 2026, Cisco unveiled the Cisco Cloud Control unified platform at Cisco Live in Las Vegas. Built for human administrators and AI agents to manage, monitor, and defend critical IT infrastructure, it also serves as the foundation for Cisco's AgenticOps operational model.

With a single login, users can gain a unified view of Cisco networking, security, computing, observability, and collaboration within a secure environment through Cisco Cloud Control. Humans and AI agents operate on a single data layer, sharing the same operational context and action system, while humans retain control. Customers can build their own applications and agents using natural language directly within the platform, which also connects to a vast ecosystem including AWS, Linear, Microsoft, PagerDuty, ServiceNow, Slack, and Google Cloud (now including Wiz).

Jeetu Patel, President and Chief Product Officer of Cisco, stated that AI agents continuously reason and act at software speed, transforming how critical infrastructure is scaled, managed, and defended. As the command center for agentic AI, Cisco Cloud Control enables teams and AI agents to collaborate in the same environment, sharing the same information, with humans in control.

Cisco Cloud Control serves as a single management plane, bringing all customer assets into one environment. The platform integrates cross-domain telemetry, specialized models, trusted agents, Cisco AI Canvas, and Cloud Control Studio. Cross-domain telemetry aggregates data from networking, security, observability, and collaboration. Specialized models combine Cisco's Deep Network Model, based on 40 years of network operations data, with frontier models for reasoning. Trusted agents follow a structured signal-to-action path, enabling autonomous operations: detecting signals, identifying causes, executing fixes, testing changes before deployment, and confirming restored user experience. Cisco AI Canvas is a multi-player generative workspace where operators and agents collaboratively investigate and solve complex problems based on the same real-time evidence. Cloud Control Studio includes Agent Builder and App Builder. Agent Builder allows customers to build agents tailored to their strategies, connecting to over 50 third-party platforms and tools via native connectors or the open Model Context Protocol (MCP). App Builder enables customers to build and publish applications and workflows through natural language prompts, powered by OpenAI Codex. All content built in Studio can be published to the Cloud Control Marketplace.

Cisco Cloud Control is now in controlled availability in the United States, with global availability to follow.

In terms of security, as a founding member of Anthropic Project Glasswing and OpenAI Daybreak, Cisco uses frontier AI models to stress-test its products and has open-sourced the Foundry Security Spec. Additionally, Live Protect, acting as a digital immune system for Cisco products, protects supported platforms from newly discovered vulnerabilities at runtime. It is applicable to the N9000 series switches and is included in the Nexus One product license. Hybrid Mesh Firewall extends unified protection to networks, applications, and both Cisco and third-party firewalls. Cisco also announced enhancements to agent security products, from AI Defense to Zero Trust for Agents, and the Agentic SOC.

In response to "collect now, decrypt later" attacks, Cisco commits to enabling quantum-safe communication capabilities across its core product portfolio by December 2026, and ensuring that new campus, branch, and data center router, switch, and firewall series are equipped with quantum-safe secure boot by default. Cisco also offers Quantum Ready Assessments through Cisco IQ to identify vulnerable assets, and has released the Quantum Resilience Framework. Cisco Services has launched Resilient Infrastructure Services and Cisco IQ, fully integrated into Cisco Cloud Control, which includes the Resilient Infrastructure Playbook and Peer Benchmarking, with support for on-premises deployment options. Global availability for the aforementioned Quantum Ready Assessments and Cisco IQ is planned for July 2026.
