en.Wedoany.com Reported - IBM and ServiceNow have announced an expanded partnership aimed at addressing two major obstacles enterprises face when deploying Agentic AI at scale: AI-ready data issues and legacy application layers. The two companies will integrate IBM's solutions in AI, data, and automation with ServiceNow's AI platform to help enterprises break through outdated systems and make data usable for AI.

Deeply interconnected legacy systems are a primary barrier to accelerating AI adoption in enterprises. IBM and ServiceNow are working together through joint solutions to help organizations evolve while retaining existing systems, run AI on any chosen model, and unlock the full value of enterprise data.

John Aisien, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Central Product Management, Security, and Risk at ServiceNow, stated that most enterprises have the ambition to deploy Agentic AI but lack the foundation to run it at scale. IBM provides tools to modernize systems and expand ServiceNow's data capabilities, while ServiceNow offers a platform that enables data to function across every enterprise workflow. The partnership aims to help enterprises transition from AI ambition to real, scalable outcomes. Raj Datta, Vice President of ISV and AI Partnerships at IBM, noted that adopting AI at scale requires not only access to models but also a rethinking of systems, data, and workflows. IBM and ServiceNow are building an open, flexible foundation for AI that allows it to scale within operations and deliver tangible business value.

This partnership integrates IBM's software solutions with the ServiceNow AI platform to create new solutions for customers in three key areas. In application modernization, tools such as IBM Bob, Enterprise Application Runtime (Java), and IBM watsonx.data are used to scan and refactor legacy systems, enabling enterprises to bring older applications into the AI era without starting from scratch. In enterprise data governance, IBM watsonx.data extends the ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric, leveraging the ServiceNow Data Catalog to enhance data quality, observability, and master data management capabilities, ensuring data is AI-ready. In autonomous infrastructure operations, Red Hat Ansible, IBM Bob, Instana, HashiCorp Terraform, and HashiCorp Vault are integrated into ServiceNow IT workflows to detect, remediate, and resolve issues before they impact business. These joint solutions are expected to be available in the second half of 2026.
