The Claude Compliance API is a REST API that provides enterprise IT and security teams with programmatic access to Claude activity data, including conversation content and activity event logs. Through this interface, security teams can receive real-time signals such as files uploaded, prompts written, and projects created by employees when using Claude, and import this data into existing security and compliance tools. Sentra continuously discovers and classifies sensitive data across cloud, SaaS, and on-premises environments, building and updating a comprehensive map that includes data locations and access permissions. When data from the Claude Compliance API flows into Sentra, file upload events become risk-assessed data exposure incidents, and activity anomalies become governance alerts with regulatory context.
