en.Wedoany.com Reported - Regener8 Resources (ASX:R8R) has completed the first phase of soil sampling at the Srebrenica North Project in Bosnia and Herzegovina, establishing the first systematic geochemical dataset for the Zanik and Chaush prospects on the Dolovi tenement.
The field program collected 208 samples at approximately 100-meter intervals along ridge lines and tributaries, gathering the first modern exploration data for these prospects. The company is targeting lead-zinc-silver mineralization near the Sase mine operated by Mineco in the region.

Regener8 Managing Director Stephen Foley stated that the rapid completion of the soil sampling program reflects the company's intention to accelerate the project. The company is awaiting assay results and plans to initiate the second phase of soil sampling and preliminary ground magnetic surveys in the coming weeks.
The first-phase program was based on historical evidence and recent field observations at Zanik and Chaush. Zanik, located in the southwestern part of the Dolovi tenement, features extensive medieval mining remains and a waste rock pile of approximately two hectares. Historical trench grab samples from 1975 returned up to 412 g/t silver, 21.9% lead, 7.3% zinc, and 0.9% antimony. Recent reconnaissance identified 1 to 3-meter-wide gossanous breccia veins, as well as quartz veins containing visible galena, sphalerite, and pyrite, consistent with lead-zinc-silver mineralization. The soil sampling program covered the area around the historical mining zone and extended eastward to the area of a 1977 historical stream sediment anomaly (680 ppm lead).
Chaush, located in the central part of the Dolovi tenement, is an untested exploration target with no historical mining indications. Mineralized lead-zinc structures extending north-northwest from the Sase mine have been historically mapped at the surface. A magnetic anomaly is also associated with hydrothermal alteration and mapped structures, adding a new focus for follow-up work.
Regener8's near-term priority is to receive and interpret the first-phase assay results. The next phase of field work, including a second round of soil sampling and ground magnetic surveys, is planned to commence in the coming weeks. The company stated it will update the market as results are received and exploration progresses.
