en.Wedoany.com Reported - South Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT announced on the 15th that companies including LG AI Research, Upstage, SK Telecom, Motif Technologies, Naver Cloud, and KT are collaborating with institutions across various sectors to advance industry-specific services based on K-AI models. The applications cover financial AI agents, physical AI, AI search, financial large language models (LLMs), agricultural AI agents, and trial support AI.
LG AI Research has partnered with Kiwoom Securities to develop a financial-specific AI agent. The two companies plan to provide services that assist individual investment decisions, leveraging LG AI Research's AI models and financial data from the London Stock Exchange Group. LG AI Research is working on an "Explainable AI Investment" service based on "Exaone Business Intelligence (BI)," where AI not only predicts stock investment scores but also explains the basis and reasoning behind its judgments, aiming to enhance both accuracy and explainability—key elements of financial AI agents.

Upstage is promoting integration with the robot foundation model of physical AI startup RealWorld. RealWorld previously unveiled "RLDX-1," a robot foundation model that enables robots to observe, understand, and act in the real world. The two companies plan to integrate Upstage's proprietary AI model "Solar Open Vision-Language Model (VLM)" with RealWorld's robot foundation model by defining technical requirements and verifying the performance of the integrated model combined with RealWorld's action modules.
SK Telecom is collaborating with Liner to advance AI-based search and information services. The focus is on combining SK Telecom's proprietary AI model "A.X K1" with Liner's high-precision retrieval-augmented generation technology to improve answer accuracy and reliability. Liner is working to reduce AI hallucination through datasets based on actual usage, a ranking model-based evaluation system, and sentence-level verification modules. SK Telecom is optimizing a platform foundation capable of providing information with clear sources, based on Liner's search and verification capabilities.
Motif Technologies and DeepSearch are jointly developing a financial-specific large language model. The two companies plan to combine DeepSearch's financial data and structured knowledge with domestic AI models to create a model optimized for the internal network environments of financial institutions. This model is expected to evolve into an agent-type AI capable of autonomously judging and executing complex financial tasks, supporting specialized financial operations such as corporate analysis, valuation, asset portfolio formation and optimization, and target company analysis in mergers and acquisitions.
Naver Cloud and Daedong are jointly building an agricultural-specific AI agent. In an AI model trained on domestic soil, climate, and crop data, they will integrate Naver Cloud's voice and language technologies with Daedong AI Lab's experience in smart agriculture and agricultural AI platform operations. Farmers can use this agent for tasks such as filling out farming logs, customized cultivation management for farms, and agricultural consulting services. In the future, the scope of AI-based services will expand to include distribution and operational management.
KT is collaborating with the Supreme Court of South Korea to advance a project for building a generative AI-based trial support AI system. The company has established a legal-domain-specific data system and developed a graphics processing unit (GPU)-based AI infrastructure and AI service portal, creating an integrated environment for applying generative AI to actual tasks. The trial support AI provides answers based on legal information such as laws, precedents, rulings, commentaries, and practical points, allowing users to also view the laws and precedents that serve as the basis for the answers. KT stated that it plans to apply its proprietary AI model "믿음 (Trust) 2.0" to the trial support AI, which will enhance the performance of AI services in the legal field and propose a safe and reliable generative AI application model in the public sector.
