en.Wedoany.com Reported - LS Cable & System (LS C&S) has secured an ultra-high voltage grid project worth approximately 140 billion won from the Singapore Power Authority, and will supply 400kV and 230kV class cables.

Since 2010, LS Cable and LS Eco Energy have maintained the top market share in Singapore's ultra-high voltage cable market. Leveraging their accumulated technical expertise and project execution experience, the two companies have continuously participated in the construction of Singapore's national power grid, becoming core suppliers in this market.

LS Cable is the only company in Korea to have commercialized ultra-high voltage HVDC cables and ultra-high voltage submarine cables. The company has secured HVDC projects worth approximately 2.5 trillion won in Europe, demonstrating its technological competitiveness in the global grid market.

Recently, LS Cable has been expanding its business into the AI data center power infrastructure market through collaboration with partners. LSCUS, the U.S. subsidiary of its affiliate Gaon Cable, has also successively signed long-term supply contracts worth trillions of won for busway systems with global big tech companies, accelerating its expansion into the North American market.

Kim Hyung-won, head of LS Cable's Energy & Construction Business Division, stated that competitiveness in the AI era ultimately stems from power infrastructure, and LS Cable will lead the global market based on its comprehensive competitiveness ranging from AI data center transmission networks to internal power distribution solutions.
