en.Wedoany.com Reported - FranklinWH Energy Storage plans to enter the European residential energy storage market in 2027, unveiling its system at this week's Intersolar Europe 2026. Utilities and homeowners are currently facing continuously rising electricity prices and an increasing need for grid flexibility.

The electrification of transportation and home heating, coupled with the increased adoption of renewable energy, is accelerating the demand for residential energy storage in Europe. Utilities are managing peak loads and enhancing grid reliability by expanding distributed energy resource programs, while homeowners seek to reduce energy costs, gain backup power, and increase control over their electricity usage.

The FranklinWH system integrates battery storage, solar power, electric vehicle charging, and energy management functions through a single residential platform. Utilizing the aGate smart controller, the system is scalable from 15 to 225 kilowatt-hours of capacity, supporting backup power, solar self-consumption, and energy cost management. The system employs lithium iron phosphate (LFP) chemistry and features an integrated architecture to simplify the installation process. The energy management software dynamically adjusts charging and discharging strategies based on household electricity consumption, electricity prices, and weather conditions.

The company already supports over 25 utility-led virtual power plant (VPP) and demand response programs in the United States, where customers discharge stored energy to the grid when needed and receive compensation in return.

FranklinWH has a global network of over 4,000 authorized installation partners with experience in residential energy storage deployment, training, and customer support. The company states that this network will support its entry into the European market.

"European homeowners want to lower their electricity bills, and utilities want reliable flexible resources," said Vincent Ambrose, Chief Commercial Officer of FranklinWH. "These are not separate challenges but the same opportunity seen from both sides of the meter. Our system is already operating in virtual power plants across the United States, and we have built this platform based on what we have learned. FranklinWH's core philosophy is simple: homeowners should be able to generate, store, manage, and use energy through a single integrated platform, rather than relying on a collection of disconnected devices."

FranklinWH is meeting with utilities, distributors, installers, and energy aggregators during Intersolar Europe to build a European partner network for its 2027 market launch. Distribution partnerships, market availability, and further product details will be announced before the company enters the European market.

FranklinWH will be present at Intersolar Europe 2026, held from June 23 to 25, 2026, at Messe München in Munich, at booth 130 in Hall C3.
