en.Wedoany.com Reported - After unveiling its next-generation largest articulated dump truck at ConExpo 2026, Develon has completed the redesign of its smallest model, the DA30-7. This 62,000-pound payload ADT (Articulated Dump Truck) features a completely redesigned cab that shares a similar automotive-inspired interior style with its sister model, the DA45-7. Both models are scheduled to launch this summer.

Jay Patel, Develon Product Manager, stated that the most significant update from the previous -5 series to the new DA30-7 and DA45-7 is the fully reimagined interior layout, transforming the truck's interior from a traditional heavy equipment style to a high-end, automotive-inspired environment.

The cab is equipped with automatic climate control, a heated air-suspension seat, an adjustable steering wheel, power-adjustable mirrors, and USB chargers. The 12-inch touchscreen has been repositioned at eye level, allowing operators to read data while viewing the ground ahead. According to Develon, the screen provides larger, clearer views of key machine data, status updates, and settings.

The display enables real-time monitoring of payload weight to prevent overloading or underloading, and includes an inclinometer showing the ADT's tilt and pitch angles to enhance safety and prevent rollovers. The display also shows camera feeds and operational gauge information such as speed, engine RPM, fuel and diesel exhaust fluid levels and consumption rates, and engine and hydraulic oil temperatures.

The DA30-7 introduces an automatic parking brake function that protects the truck and operator during loading and unloading, provides assistance when climbing and descending slopes, and reduces transmission wear by automatically holding the truck in place. To operate, press a button to engage the brake and shift into neutral; shift into drive and press the accelerator to release. The automatic parking also eliminates the need for two-foot operation on slopes, releasing the brake automatically when sufficient forward torque is sensed. The new parking brake lever uses a pull-up/push-down action, continuing the cab's automotive-inspired design.

The DA30-7 is powered by a 362.1-horsepower Scania diesel engine, meeting Tier 4 Final emissions standards through a diesel oxidation catalyst and selective catalytic reduction, without the need for a diesel particulate filter. Other features include a front steering ring, a free-swinging rear tandem bogie suspension, a self-leveling oil-pneumatic front suspension, a limited-slip differential, a body heater, a tilting cab, ground-level fuel and DEF filling, a more accessible power module, a centralized maintenance panel, a 5.3-gallon automatic grease tank, and the standard My Develon fleet management telematics system.

The DA30-7 has an empty operating weight of 51,147 pounds, a payload of 61,729 pounds, an overall width over tires of 9 feet 10 inches, a top speed of 34.2 mph, a maximum torque of 1,381.5 lb-ft, a body capacity of 23.3 cubic yards, and a cab noise level of 72 dB(A).
