Zoomlion Appoints Foster Cranes as Exclusive UK Distributor for Mobile Cranes

en.Wedoany.com Reported - On October 6, UK-based Foster Cranes was appointed as the exclusive distributor for Zoomlion mobile cranes in the UK market and has ordered the first ZAT600E all-terrain crane. The first unit is expected to arrive in the UK in the coming weeks and will subsequently be used for local sales and customer demonstrations.

The ZAT600E has a rated lifting capacity of 60 tonnes, features a three-axle chassis and a six-section 48-metre main boom, and can be configured with a 9.5-metre to 16-metre double-folding jib, achieving a maximum tip height of nearly 67 metres. The machine has an overall width of 2.55 metres, a vehicle length of 11.72 metres, a road travel height of 3.83 metres, and a maximum counterweight of 13 tonnes. The powertrain uses a Mercedes-Benz Euro 6 diesel engine and is equipped with an Allison six-speed automatic transmission, all-wheel drive, and all-wheel steering.

Foster Cranes is headquartered in Kidderminster and currently also distributes Jekko cranes and Emovr crawler transport equipment, and operates a used crane business. The company has previously also represented JMG, Hoeflon, and Sany telescopic crawler cranes. This partnership with Zoomlion further expands its UK mobile crane product line.

Zoomlion has previously continued to advance its presence in the UK construction machinery market. In September, after ending its exclusive distribution partnership with AJ Access, its aerial work platform business shifted to direct responsibility by a local UK team for sales, service, and parts, with headquarters in Manchester and support locations in Banbury and Slough. Foster Cranes is responsible for the mobile crane product line, which operates separately from the direct-sales model for aerial work platforms.
