en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Korea Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA) adopted a total of 19 TTA standards covering AI, security, ICT convergence, and other fields at the 109th Information and Communication Standards General Assembly held on the 26th.

In the AI field, the TTA newly established the "Multimodal Artificial Intelligence System Requirements" standard, systematizing performance requirements for AI systems that process composite data such as text, images, and voice. This standard can serve as a reference benchmark for introducing multimodal AI in industrial fields such as medical imaging diagnosis, autonomous driving, and smart manufacturing.

In the security field, the TTA revised security function requirements for blocking targeted email attacks and newly established standard API conformance testing methods for interoperability between heterogeneous physical security systems, such as biometric access control systems and CCTV intrusion detection.

In the ICT convergence field, the TTA standardized performance requirements and test evaluation methods for FMCW radar altimeters mounted on drones, which is expected to contribute to ensuring low-altitude autonomous flight safety and enhancing industrial competitiveness.

Additionally, the TTA adopted multiple standards to lead future industrial development, including an agricultural robot operation framework in vertical farm environments, performance testing guidelines for communication equipment in unmanned marine systems, and metadata for recording damage information of outdoor cultural heritage based on USD.

In the mobile communications field, to address changes in open network environments and the advancement of 5G services, the TTA revised three standards: mobile network open API linkage, IP linkage for voice interconnection between operators, and VoLTE terminal specifications.

TTA President Son Seung-hyun (손승현) stated that the standards adopted at this General Assembly will play a significant role in enhancing the global competitiveness of South Korea's ICT industry by ensuring AI reliability and strengthening the security foundation. The TTA will continue to collaborate with industry, academia, research institutes, and government to develop leading standards that will guide future society.
