en.Wedoany.com Reported - SWARM Engineering has completed a $10 million Series A funding round, with the capital to be used to expand its AI platform for operational decision-making in supply chain, workforce, and logistics management.

The round was co-led by S2G Investments and AgRogue Growth Partners, and was oversubscribed. Participants include Radicle Growth, Grit Road Partners, Middleland Capital, Open Prairie, Serra Ventures, and Trailhead Capital.

Unlike general-purpose AI platforms, SWARM's software is built on a pre-loaded operational ontology—decision logic, constraints, and variable relationships specific to the agri-food and manufacturing sectors—rather than learning from scratch on each customer's data. The company claims the system can simulate hundreds of supply chain scenarios within minutes. Customer Springs Window Fashions reported a 40% reduction in planning cycles and freed-up working capital after deploying the platform.

The new funds will be used for product development, commercial expansion, and deeper integration with ERP and supply chain systems. SWARM also announced that Jason Trusley, Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer at Land O’Lakes, has joined its advisory board.

Shail Khiyara, CEO of SWARM Engineering, stated that the decision-making challenges in the agri-food sector cannot be replicated by general-purpose AI, as decades of accumulated domain knowledge are native to the SWARM system. The company currently serves customers in the United States, Latin America, and Europe, and received AgTech Breakthrough awards in 2024 and 2025.
