en.Wedoany.com Reported - On June 25, 2026, Unit 5 of the SPIC Binhai 2×1,000MW Expansion Project in Yancheng City successfully connected to the grid with the support of the NCS monitoring system independently developed by NARI Technology.

This project is a key initiative in Jiangsu Province's efforts to build an "integrated large base integrating thermal, wind, solar, and storage with multi-energy complementarity," aiming to optimize the province's energy structure and enhance power supply security in northern Jiangsu. Once fully operational, the project is expected to generate 100 billion kWh annually, meeting the electricity needs of approximately 4 million households. It will serve as a core power source in northern Jiangsu, undertaking tasks such as new energy consumption, grid peak regulation, and driving the transformation of coal power supporting grids.

The NCS monitoring system at the station fully adopts products independently developed by NARI Technology, including the NS5000 monitoring system, NS3560 series measurement and control devices, NSS201 remote terminal units, and NSC350 protocol conversion devices. The entire system achieves coordinated linkage, offering stable and reliable operational performance, enabling comprehensive monitoring and control of telemetry, remote signaling, and remote control signals within the station, providing technical support for the long-term safe and stable operation of the units. The project also applies domestic commercial cryptography technology, implementing "full-path encrypted authentication" for NCS system operation commands and maintenance access through commercial cryptographic algorithms, effectively preventing cybersecurity risks such as data tampering and identity forgery. This solution complies with industry regulations and the Level 2.0 Protection standard, establishing a security protection system for core control systems on the power generation side, providing a replicable and scalable practical model for new units and renovation projects in the industry. During project implementation, NARI Technology's Marketing and Service Center collaborated with the Substation Company to coordinate internal and external resources, aligning with the project's construction goals. The technical team of the Substation Company, under conditions of intensive cross-operations, complex construction environments, and mismatched device communication protocols, completed key tasks such as measurement point verification, logic optimization, and communication interference resolution, opening the full-chain data channel, eliminating hidden risks in device joint debugging, and completing preparatory work.

The successful grid connection of this unit represents an application achievement of NARI Technology's domestically developed self-researched technology in the power generation sector. Through the integration of technological innovation and engineering services, it further strengthens the foundation of power security supply in the Jiangsu region and supports the transformation and upgrading of the local energy structure.
