en.Wedoany.com Reported - Xiamen Gaoxin Torch Achievement Transformation Fund recently completed an investment in Guangzhou Chensi Communication Technology Co., Ltd. Founded in November 2020 and headquartered in Huangpu, Guangzhou, Chensi Technology focuses on the R&D and sales of digital beamforming chips, modules, and digital phased array antenna products.
The company's core team possesses a dual background in industry and scientific research. The founder and general manager has over ten years of work experience at ZTE, leading the R&D of multiple generations of mobile phone baseband chips. The chief scientist previously served as the deputy director of the 10th Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation and deputy chief designer of the Manned Space Engineering program. He is currently a Qiushi Distinguished Professor at Zhejiang University and director of the Institute of Aerospace Information Technology. Other key technical personnel primarily come from communication companies such as Huawei and ZTE.
Chensi Technology has established a complete R&D chain covering chip definition, digital-analog design, verification testing, module development, and system integration. Its self-developed first multi-channel digital multi-beamforming chip, the CS8800, integrates 32 transceiver channels, supports the JESD204B protocol, features reconfigurable beam algorithm capabilities, and includes an on-chip CPU.

Compared to traditional FPGA-based solutions, the CS8800 reduces both cost and power consumption by 70%. The chip has completed Fullmask tape-out and testing verification, making it ready for mass production. Based on the CS8800, Chensi Technology has simultaneously launched multi-band DBF modules for the low-altitude economy and military sectors, covering S, L, and other frequency bands, lowering the development and deployment threshold for digital phased array antennas.
In terms of application and market expansion, Chensi Technology has engaged in deep cooperation with multiple domestic military research institutes in the digital phased array field, advancing system-level product development and engineering integration. In the civilian sector, the company is focusing on two major directions: the low-altitude economy and satellite internet. In the low-altitude economy, it collaborates with provincial and municipal low-altitude development authorities, participating in technical breakthroughs and demonstration validations for local low-altitude surveillance systems. Related products can be applied to drone management, low-altitude logistics, and urban air traffic management. In the satellite internet sector, its DBF chips and modules can support the construction of high-speed communication links between satellites and ground terminals, providing core hardware support for the localization of satellite communication ground equipment.
The company plans to promote the simultaneous deployment of chip-level and board-level products in both military and civilian fields through joint development with key industry entities.
The investor stated that this investment is an important move to position itself in the core digital phased array chip track. In the future, leveraging Chensi Technology's digital multi-beamforming chip technology, it aims to foster collaborative innovation across the upstream and downstream industrial chain, providing support for fields such as satellite internet and national defense informatization.
The first phase of the Xiamen Torch Technology Achievement Transformation Fund is 500 million yuan, initiated and managed by Xiamen Gaoxin Investment. It focuses on supporting the transformation of scientific and technological achievements from universities and research institutes through equity investments, accelerating the industrialization process of research outcomes.
