en.Wedoany.com Reported - Daikin Applied Europe has launched a series of new products and solutions for the decarbonized HVAC sector, covering units using natural refrigerants, industrial and district heating technologies, data center cooling solutions, and flexible rental services, to address specific market needs.

The company recently introduced a series of units using the natural refrigerant R-290 (propane). The new series includes the EWA/YK-CZ monobloc units (20–85 kW) and the EWYK-QZ modular heat pumps (configurable up to 2000 kW). All units are equipped with the "Daikin Safety Shield" system, integrating active and passive safety measures for the electrical, refrigeration, and water circuits. The EWA/YK-CZ series can operate as both chillers and heat pumps, with an outlet water temperature of up to 75°C and an ambient operating temperature range of -20°C to +46°C. The modular EWYK-QZ series allows for flexible capacity expansion, with installation capacity precisely adjusted to system requirements and expandable over time.

For industrial applications and district heating, Daikin offers the EWWH-VZ heat pump using the near-zero Global Warming Potential (GWP) refrigerant R-1234ze. This heat pump has a capacity of 400 to 1900 kW and can produce hot water up to 90°C. Thanks to a variable frequency drive screw compressor and compact design, this solution aims to replace fossil fuel heating systems, ensuring high energy efficiency and operational flexibility.

In the data center cooling sector, Daikin has launched a new Coolant Distribution Unit (CDU) designed for liquid-cooled architectures. This solution supports over 2.5 MW of cooling capacity, integrates high-efficiency IE5 motors, and ensures high-precision temperature control. The design includes redundant systems and hot-swappable components for uninterrupted maintenance. To support the data center market, Daikin has also formed a dedicated professional team, adopting an end-to-end approach covering all project phases from design to after-sales service.

Additionally, Daikin has expanded its service portfolio to include rental cooling and heating solutions, supported by a flexible fleet of chillers and heat pumps. These services help customers manage seasonal peak demand, plant upgrades, and temporary or emergency needs. The company has recently strengthened its presence in the European rental market, particularly in the UK, Germany, and other key countries, to meet the growing demand for scalable and rapidly deployable solutions.
