en.Wedoany.com Reported - French building materials company Weber has added three low-carbon solutions to its enaé range, designed for structural construction, concrete repair, and masonry work. These include: webercel bloc enaé (for aerated concrete blocks and clay brick masonry), webercel bloc rouleau enaé (for thin-joint precision block masonry), and weberep express enaé (for rapid concrete repair). All products in this range come with third-party verified Environmental Product Declarations (FDES), with data published on the French building environmental database INIES.
webercel bloc enaé is specifically developed for masonry of aerated concrete blocks and clay bricks, applied quickly and easily with a notched trowel to achieve thin joints of 2 to 6 mm, enhancing thermal performance while improving efficiency. The inconspicuous joints also help improve the final appearance of the building. In addition to its bonding function, the material can be used to repair chipped edges, fix defects, or correct local unevenness. The product has received QB certification from the French Scientific and Technical Center for Building (CSTB) and is available in 25 kg and 5 kg packaging.
webercel bloc rouleau enaé is specifically designed for thin-joint masonry of precision blocks, applied with a roller to spread the adhesive mortar, speeding up construction and reducing preparation and handling operations. Its specific formulation ensures smooth flow in the application tool and immediate adhesion after application. The mortar maintains good performance on masonry, ensuring structural reliability even in vertical joints in seismic zones. With a strength class of M15, it is suitable for indoor and outdoor load-bearing or non-load-bearing wall masonry, meeting the requirements of NF DTU 20.1 for masonry exposure classes from MX1 to MX5. The thin-joint technique helps improve the aesthetic quality of the building and reduces the risk of color variation when applying subsequent exterior wall coatings.
weberep express enaé is a versatile repair mortar suitable for reinforced concrete structure repair, defect patching, groove filling, fixing anchors or hinges, passive crack treatment, and leveling or recess work. The product can passivate steel reinforcement, eliminating the need for multiple products in the same application. Its rapid setting property allows for initial setting in 30 minutes. The mortar is light gray, maintaining a uniform appearance between the original concrete and the repaired area. Its fiber-reinforced, low-shrinkage formulation ensures excellent thick-layer application performance, with a single application thickness of up to 70 mm. Strong adhesion to the substrate ensures repair durability, and fine aggregates help achieve a refined finish. The product meets the R3 class of NF EN 1504-3 and has obtained NF 030 certification. Compared to the previous generation formulation, its carbon dioxide emissions have been reduced by 29%. The dust-reducing formulation also improves worker comfort and keeps the construction site clean.
