China's Beijing-Harbin Expressway Jiumenkou Second Line Hebei Section Completes Asphalt Middle Layer Test Section Paving
en.Wedoany.com Reported - On June 28, the asphalt middle layer test section paving of the Hebei section of the Jiumenkou Second Line on China's Beijing-Harbin Expressway was completed, marking the project's entry into the asphalt surface layer construction phase and providing construction experience for subsequent large-scale operations.
The test section has a total length of 310 meters. Before construction, the project department organized technical briefings and plan deployments, arranging for personnel, equipment, materials, construction temperature, paving speed, and rolling processes. During the paving process, on-site personnel conducted real-time monitoring of key indicators such as mixture temperature and paving thickness, with all parameters meeting design requirements. The paving effect of this test section was recognized by the owner and supervision unit.
This test section paving verified the rationality of the construction process and machinery configuration, accumulating parameter support for subsequent large-scale surface layer construction.

In the next step, the project department will summarize the construction results of the test section, coordinate material supply, equipment maintenance, and construction organization, advance the asphalt surface layer paving operations, implement project quality, safety production, and civilized construction management, accelerate project construction progress, and provide support for the full-line completion and opening to traffic in 2026 and the improvement of the regional transportation network.
