Since the first batch of Northern Shares NTE240 mining trucks began operation at the Dexing Copper Mine, they have been tasked with round-the-clock material transportation across the mining area, with an average annual operating time exceeding 6,000 hours. After years of high-intensity service, the vehicles have gradually experienced wear and aging. To revitalize existing equipment, reduce procurement and maintenance costs, and ensure on-site safety, Northern Mining, in collaboration with the Dexing Copper Mine, officially launched the full-vehicle remanufacturing project. At the project's inception, the technical team went deep into the mining site, combined with the actual working environment, engaged with operators and maintenance personnel to understand their real needs, established a complete set of remanufacturing technical standards, and simultaneously implemented 10 technical upgrade and transformation plans.
Through comprehensive disassembly, inspection, structural reinforcement, component replacement, and electrical control optimization, the remanufactured NTE240 mining truck's overall performance fully meets new machine standards, with key operational indicators such as MTBF and MTTR matching those of brand-new factory vehicles.
