Approximately 150 representatives from the Shenzhen Regulatory Bureau, Air Traffic Control, Customs, major airlines, the airport group, and various construction and supervision units were invited to attend. The T2 Terminal Area project is a key transportation infrastructure project for Guangdong Province and Shenzhen City, with a total investment exceeding 19 billion yuan. Upon completion, it is expected to add an annual passenger throughput of 31 million person-times, seamlessly connect with multiple intercity and subway lines, build an integrated air-rail intermodal hub, further improve the overall layout of "three runways, three terminal areas" at Shenzhen Airport, comprehensively enhance the regional aviation passenger and cargo handling capacity, and provide strong aviation support for high-end manufacturing, cross-border logistics, and foreign trade industries in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

As a major participant in the T2 Terminal Area project, PowerChina Airport Construction Company undertakes the crucial task of constructing the airfield area pavement. Previously, relying on its high-quality performance and cooperative reputation in the expansion project, PowerChina Airport Construction Company successfully won the bid for the core construction section of this project: the Airfield Area Pavement Works (Lot 1) of the Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport T2 Terminal Area and Supporting Facilities Project. The main construction tasks of this lot include foundation treatment, earthwork, pavement, taxiway renovation, utility tunnels, perimeter fencing, and supporting pipeline works for the airfield area. It will involve the construction of 63 new aircraft parking stands and the simultaneous extension and renovation of multiple taxiways.
