Verkada is leveraging the NVIDIA Cosmos world foundation model and the NVIDIA physical AI data factory to accelerate model training and inference across its global devices running on NVIDIA accelerated computing platforms. Since the partnership began, Verkada has improved its AI-driven search mean Average Precision (mAP) by 68% in spatiotemporal understanding, enabling faster, more accurate, and more robust search capabilities.

Additionally, Verkada is developing a multi-model search agent architecture and exploring reasoning models to address complex, unstructured real-world scenarios, such as identifying health and safety incidents on a manufacturing floor or detecting shrinkage in retail environments. The company is also focused on strengthening the models and data flywheel that power intelligent video analytics, advancing AI-driven video search, multimodal embeddings and vector retrieval, as well as synthetic data generation techniques.
