HDI derivatives are key components of high-performance polyurethane coatings, adhesives, and sealants, widely used in automotive coatings, infrastructure protective coatings, marine coatings, wood furniture, electronic devices, and other demanding industrial applications. Thomas Roemer, Head of the Coatings & Adhesives business entity at Covestro, stated that by adding production sites in Thailand and the United States, the company strengthens its regional production capacity and improves its ability to supply from locations close to customers.
