en.Wedoany.com Reported - Brazil's Paraná State Sanitation Company (Companhia de Saneamento do Paraná, Sanepar) has launched an international tender for the construction of the Northern Paraná Integrated Water Supply System (SAINP) under an asset lease model. Bidders must submit the lowest monthly rent proposal while meeting all conditions set forth in the tender documents, with the auction scheduled for September 24 at the B3 stock exchange in São Paulo.
The total estimated value of the contract is approximately BRL 2 billion, corresponding to the sum of all rental payments over the 20-year contract period. Sanepar believes that the asset lease model will enable the system to be built in a shorter timeframe. The contract includes developing the execution project, constructing infrastructure, and providing assets such as pipelines, equipment, and buildings for Sanepar to operate. The project will ensure water supply to cities including Arapongas, Apucarana, and Rolândia.
Sanepar CEO Wilson Bley stated that signing the SAINP contract is a milestone in the company's history, as this model allows large-scale projects to be implemented in a shorter time compared to traditional contracts, thereby accelerating the development of new sanitation solutions.
According to the "Top 500 in the South" ranking published by the AMANHÃ Group and supported by PwC Brasil, Sanepar ranks as the 17th largest company in the region and the 7th largest in Paraná State.
