en.Wedoany.com Reported - German wind turbine manufacturer Nordex Group secured strong orders in its domestic market at the end of the second quarter, with wind energy company Enova, its partner BMR Energy Solutions, and tire manufacturer Continental placing multiple new orders in late June, totaling over 217 MW and involving 33 wind turbines.

Under the orders, Nordex will supply 30 turbines with a capacity of over 197 MW to Enova and BMR for four projects in Lower Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein, and North Rhine-Westphalia. An additional three turbines with a capacity of 20 MW will be supplied to Continental for the Twistenberg wind farm, which will directly power a factory in Korbach.

The four projects for Enova and BMR include: in the village of Bördecke, Lower Saxony, Enova will replace 10 existing turbines with 10 Nordex N163/6.X turbines (total capacity 68 MW) as a repowering project, with construction scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2027 and commissioning in early 2028; at a wind farm in Schleswig-Holstein, Nordex will supply six N149/5.X turbines with a capacity of 34.2 MW, with construction planned for early 2028 and commissioning in mid-2028; for the Nettetal project in North Rhine-Westphalia, Nordex will supply five N163/6.X turbines, with construction starting in October 2027 and commissioning in early 2028; and in the Breberen repowering project jointly supported by Enova and BMR, nine existing turbines will be replaced by more powerful N163/6.X units, with construction also starting in October 2027 and planned for commissioning in the second quarter of 2028. All four contracts include 20-year premium service agreements.

For the Twistenberg wind farm in the Waldeck-Frankenberg district of northern Hesse, Nordex will supply and install three N175/6.X turbines with a hub height of 179 meters. A key feature of the project is that the generated electricity will be directly supplied to large industrial offtaker Continental, which will own and operate the wind farm. According to the company, this 20 MW wind farm is expected to generate approximately 55 GWh of electricity annually, which, together with existing solar facilities, can meet about two-thirds of the electricity demand at Continental's factory located approximately 8 kilometers away. The order also includes a 20-year full-service agreement. The project is developed by Verbands-Energie-Werk Gesellschaft für Erneuerbare Energien, a subsidiary of regional utility company Energie Waldeck-Frankenberg GmbH. Civil engineering work is scheduled to begin in 2026, with commissioning approximately one and a half years later.

The Enova order adds to Nordex's portfolio growth. According to the company, Enova currently operates approximately 1 GW of onshore wind capacity, making it one of the largest onshore wind operators in Germany, and plans to grow to 3 GW by the end of 2030. BMR Energy Solutions, headquartered in Geilenkirchen, North Rhine-Westphalia, is a project developer primarily active in western Germany, which originally developed the Nettetal and Breberen projects. Karsten Brüggemann, Vice President of Region Central at Nordex Group, stated that the company has established a long-term and trusting relationship with BMR and is pleased to implement more joint projects with ENOVA again, further expanding the business relationship. Enova Chief Operating Officer Hendrik Böschen added that these projects mark the next milestone in the development of its wind farm portfolio.

Nordex shares, listed on the RENIXX World Renewable Energy Stock Index, traded at €46.66 on the Stuttgart Stock Exchange at 1:48 PM on July 3, 2026, up 6.2% from the previous week's closing price.
