en.Wedoany.com Reported - Cloud.ru has updated its Foundation Models service, retaining its proprietary models while newly integrating external large language models from global suppliers such as Alibaba, DeepSeek, and Z.ai, providing users with a unified model access portal.

Users can now choose between open-source and proprietary models based on task requirements, connect via a unified API or web interface, compare parameters and costs of different models, and pay based on actual usage. Cloud.ru stated that the service aims to serve as an alternative to OpenRouter, which has exited the Russian market.
In terms of data processing, the platform incorporates control tools such as Guardrails to review requests and shield enterprise and user data, thereby reducing the risk of data leakage when using third-party models. Once the system detects sensitive data, the relevant situation will be recorded in monitoring alerts.
Cloud.ru continues to offer models deployed on its own infrastructure to meet scenarios requiring compliance with Federal Law 152-ФЗ. External models are connected as independent options, suitable for tasks that require a broader model selection or rapid access to new global solutions.
Currently, the Foundation Models catalog showcases over 20 large language models, covering series such as GLM, Qwen, DeepSeek, MiniMax, and GigaChat. Among the external models, GLM-5.2, released globally at the end of June, is already included, excelling in coding and agent scenarios.
The Foundation Models service entered commercial operation in November 2025 and has processed 450 billion tokens to date. According to Cloud.ru, the most common application scenarios include development, customer support, sales, and content creation.
