SK Telecom announced that starting July 3, the Galaxy Wide 9 will be available for purchase at its official online store T Direct Shop and offline stores T World, priced at around 400,000 KRW, positioning it as a mid-to-low-priced 5G smartphone. The device has a factory price of 469,700 KRW, features a large 5000mAh battery supporting up to 25W fast charging, a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display, a 50-megapixel rear camera with image stabilization, and weighs 192g with a thickness of 7.5mm, making it lighter and thinner than its predecessor (200g, 7.9mm). This is the first time the Galaxy Wide series has incorporated water and dust resistance.

An SK Telecom official stated that the Galaxy Wide 9 comes pre-installed with the ZEM application, which helps cultivate healthy smartphone usage habits, making it suitable as a child's first smartphone. The Galaxy Wide series is SK Telecom's exclusive terminal product line, continuously operated since its initial launch in 2016, and has become a representative series in the mid-to-low-priced smartphone segment. Consumers purchasing the Galaxy Wide 9 at T Direct Shop will receive T Gift benefits, including a Daiso 30,000 KRW gift voucher and a Rumena desktop radio fan.
