en.Wedoany.com Reported - Siemens has launched Intelligence Center X, an artificial intelligence (AI) orchestration platform for the industrial sector, designed to help enterprises transform fragmented AI projects into scalable applications by integrating people, intelligent agents, data, and processes into a unified environment.

Siemens stated that this new software aims to address a key challenge organizations face when adopting AI: the difficulty of scaling pilot projects into large-scale operations. Data fragmentation, lack of governance, and disconnects between AI models and business processes continue to limit the return on investment for many companies.

Intelligence Center X combines the low-code development platform Mendix with Graph Studio and AI Studio software from the Rapidminer portfolio, enabling enterprises to connect corporate data, AI models, and workflows on a single unified platform. This allows companies to develop and deploy intelligent applications with traceability, controllability, and compliance.

Tony Hemmelgarn, President and CEO of Siemens Digital Industries Software, said that Intelligence Center X helps organizations move beyond the AI experimentation phase, embedding intelligence directly into daily workflows to make it governable, scalable, and trustworthy.

Brazilian flat glass manufacturer Vivix Vidros Planos has already used the platform, deploying approximately 30 Mendix-based applications to integrate operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) data, connecting systems such as SAP S/4HANA, Siemens Industrial Edge, and Snowflake. According to Siemens, this has reduced production problem resolution time by 85%, recovered approximately 6,000 hours of manual labor within a year, and shortened customer complaint processing time from five days to less than one day. The company also used Intelligence Center X, combined with Amazon Bedrock and Anthropic's Claude model, to develop an AI-based virtual engineer. This solution is part of its strategy toward full implementation of a digital twin. Aristóteles Terceiro Neto, Industrial Transformation Manager at Vivix, stated that with this system, the company is prepared for an intelligent agent-driven future, enabling people and AI to work together more closely and efficiently. According to him, the company has observed significant results, such as a fourfold increase in quality survey speed and stronger support for shop-floor decision-making. Siemens also highlighted the case of South African distributor Axiz, which used the platform to automate its pricing process. After implementation, manual workload was reduced by 95%, and data ingestion accuracy reached 100%.

Intelligence Center X is designed to integrate information from engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and service domains, creating a shared intelligent foundation for AI agents to operate. As part of the Siemens Xcelerator ecosystem, the platform is intended to work with existing business and operational systems, enabling the use of reliable data throughout the production chain. The solution also integrates with data and cloud computing ecosystem partners such as Snowflake. Amy Kodl, Senior Vice President of Global Alliances and Channels at Snowflake, said that Intelligence Center X complements existing capabilities on its platform, such as Semantic Views and Cortex AI, accelerating AI-based applications using customers' existing enterprise data.

Siemens stated that Intelligence Center X can be deployed in three different forms: integrated into the company's own AI solutions to extend industrial lifecycle intelligence; as a standalone platform for heavy-asset organizations using other vendors' operational technology; or as an enterprise platform for sectors such as financial services, insurance, healthcare, government, and retail, to execute intelligent agents and provide governance and traceability for critical applications.
